ARC Valuation and Board Advisory
January 2020 – England & Company is pleased to announce it recently served as exclusive financial advisor for Advanced Reactor Concepts, LLC (“ARC”) in its company valuation and advised the board on considering an equity restructuring plan.
About ARC
ARC is a clean energy technology company developing the ARC-100, an advanced small modular reactor (aSMR) offering inherently safe, reliable, and economical carbon free power. Leveraging proven technology from the 30-year performance of its prototype, the ARC-100’s simple, modular design provides 100 megawatts of electricity and industrial heat that will be cost competitive with fossil fuels. Important applications include the decarbonization of heavy industry, the fueling of low-carbon hydrogen projects, and the creation of life-saving medical isotopes. The ARC-100 has been selected by New Brunswick Power for implementation on their Point Lepreau site with completion by the end of this decade.
Birdsall Financial Advisor to Trustee in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy
Birdsall filed Chapter 11 in March 2013 after it was indicted for campaign finance law violations and the Attorney General for the State of New Jersey sought an order to seize the company’s assets. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court approved the appointment of Edwin H. Stier, a former state and federal prosecutor, as Chapter 11 Trustee to manage the affairs of the business during the bankruptcy sale process. England served as advisor and investment banker to the Chapter 11 Trustee and managed the sale of Birdsall’s assets.
