Craig W. England

Craig England, the founding partner of England & Company, is an investment banker with over 30 years of experience in M&A advisory, financial restructuring services, and private finance.

Prior to forming England & Company, Mr. England was a Principal in Legg Mason’s Investment Banking Group where he concentrated on software and financial services companies. Prior to Legg Mason, he was a Vice President with Alex. Brown & Sons in New York and Baltimore where he led the firm’s Asset Securitization Group. Additionally, Mr. England served as a Vice President and private placement specialist at New York City-based Hunter, Keith, Marshall & Co., and Corporate Finance Director for ICON Capital Corp. He began his career as a corporate lender in the financial institutions groups of the Irving Trust Company (now the Bank of New York) and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.

Mr. England earned his BA from the Johns Hopkins University, completed studies in International Economics at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles and received his MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

William C. Getz

Bill Getz has 30 years of experience in investment banking and investment management.  Over the course of his career, Mr. Getz has led multiple Wall Street leveraged finance and sponsor coverage efforts and has completed financings and M&A transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $150 billion.

Prior to joining England & Company, Mr. Getz was a Managing Director at Steele Creek Investment Management (an affiliate of Moelis Asset Management) and Atalaya Capital Management, focusing on investing in credit products.  As an investment banker, Mr. Getz founded and ran the Leveraged Finance and Financial Sponsors businesses of Mizuho Bank in the Americas where he sat on several of the bank’s management committees and the capital allocation committee.  As a Senior Managing Director and General Manager at Mizuho, Mr. Getz oversaw and managed the bank’s $4 billion leveraged finance portfolio and $1 billion direct private equity investment portfolio in the Americas.  Mr. Getz also served as a Managing Director in the Leveraged Finance groups at RBC Capital Markets and Bear Stearns, and he was a co-founder of the Financial Sponsors group at Lehman Brothers.

Mr. Getz earned his BS in Accounting and Economics at the University of Delaware and his MBA at the University of Chicago.  Mr. Getz is a certified public accountant (inactive status).

Ramzi M. Nassar

Ramzi Nassar is an investment banker with over 20 years of experience in M&A, financial restructuring and strategic advisory services, and private and public financings. He has extensive advisory experience with transactions in the Energy, Healthcare, Technology, and Consumer sectors.

Prior to joining England & Company in 2021, Mr. Nassar was Senior Managing Director and Head of Energy Services Investment Banking at B. Riley Securities. He also served as a Managing Director and Head of Energy Investment Banking for Oppenheimer & Co. His previous investment banking experiences include energy and M&A roles at Citibank, CIBC World Markets, and Morgan Stanley. In addition, he has eight years of experience as CEO of eLinear Solutions, an energy IT services company.

Mr. Nassar earned his BA from Rice University and his MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.

James R. Reese

James Reese has more than 15 years of diverse industry experience with a focus on delivering meaningful results to enhance financial performance.

Prior to joining England & Company, Reese held the role of VP of Finance and Accounting at Cenergy International Services, a Houston-based professional staffing business working with many of the world’s most well-known oil & gas, aerospace & defense, and chemical companies. There he led the acquisition due diligence and the successful post-acquisition integration of a staffing company. Additionally, he worked for Chas P. Young Company as a Site Controller.

Mr. Reese is a Certified Public Accountant and earned his BS in Finance from the University of Houston.
