Favorite Healthcare Staffing, based in Overland Park, Kansas, is one of the nation’s largest providers of healthcare professionals, offering a full range of per diem, allied health, contract, and travel assignments, as well as permanent placement opportunities.

July 2017 – Medication Management Systems, Inc. (“MMS”) was acquired by Genoa, a QoL Healthcare Company, (“Genoa”).  England Securities acted as exclusive financial advisor for MMS in this transaction.

MMS provides comprehensive, patient-centered medication management services and technology to improve medication therapy by identifying and resolving patients’ medication therapy problems. The specially-trained MMS pharmacists deliver pharmaceutical care to improve the health of patients, improve efficiency and profitability of care delivery for physicians, and generate cost reduction and quality improvement for payers. April 2017 – Teleflex Incorporated and Teleflex Medical Canada Inc., a wholly-owned indirect subsidiary of Teleflex (NYSE: TFX) completed the acquisition of Pyng Medical Corp. (the “Company” or “Pyng”) (TSX VENTURE: PYT) for cash consideration of US$0.30203 per share.  The total value of the transaction, including expenses paid by Teleflex, was approximately US$18.5 million.  England Securities served as PYNG’s exclusive financial advisor in this transaction.

The takeout price per share was approximately 5x the US$0.06 volume-weighted average trading price of the Shares on the TSX Venture Exchange for the 20 trading days ending on February 3, 2017, utilizing a CAD/USD exchange rate of approximately 1.305.

May 2016 – England Securities, LLC is pleased to announce that it served as the exclusive financial advisor to BioMedical Enterprises, Inc. (BME) in its sale to DePuy Synthes Companies of Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ).

BME, a portfolio company of Cross Atlantic Partners and Camden Partners, is a leading maker of orthopedic shape memory implants for bone fixation in the extremities, such as foot and ankle and hand and wrist surgeries. BME was the first U.S. manufacturer of nitinol metal implants for musculoskeletal fixation. For over a decade, BME spearheaded the innovation of nitinol technology in orthopedics in the U.S., and continues the advancement of nitinol implants and instruments.

The acquisition of BME will reinforce Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices’ position in elective extremity surgery, the fastest growing segment in orthopedics.
